IMO, a neutral or warm white LED is the best combination of runtime, brightness and color. Neutral white is my preference--it has good color without appearing yellow.
Now the question is do I keep the incandescent bulb in it and get poor battery life or do I put an LED drop-in in it and get better battery life but a whiter light? What about a "natural " LED drop-in? On to batteries, what do you use in your C2 flashlight? This light has 2 Surefire Cr123's in it. Thanks for the help and now I have my first "high end" flashlight. (Image removed from quote.)
