As the title says, I am thinking of polishing one of these little fellas up - any idea if it's doable and if so what's the best way to go about it?

I'm looking for a polished SS finish which I don't even know is possible! :D

I would imagine so.  I know you're without workbench space at the moment so if you want me to have a crack at it for you :tu:
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

I never tried polishing it but I assume with a little polishing compound and a buffing wheel, it can have a nice shine.
This is called a Swiss Army Knife. Do you know what Switzerland is? Switzerland is a place where they don't like to fight, so they get people to do their fighting for them while they ski and eat chocolate. - Larry David

If you have time and enough inclination Mr B, that would be rather splendid - I would probably make a bloody mess of it anyway it my past "polishing" experiments are anything to go by :D

I'll stick in the post - anything you have a hankering for while I am sending it? Got paracord ;)

Got cord thanks Chris :tu:

I'm not promising it'll be any good when I've finished with it but its not like they cost the earth if I smurf it up ...

... there, that's filled you with trepidation :D

I didn't mean cord "au natural", I meant sending it tied in to a pretty knot or two :D

Anyway, now I can't find the little bugger so I will send it when I have hunted it back down again - no great loss if you beat it up a bit!
