Never been a big fan of mr scissorhands. Just found my bill bailey dvd! That should tide me over for a couple of hours...medieval roadie can keep me going for that long on its own!

I'm not bored.  Who told you I was bored? :P

I can't say I was a big fan of Edward Scissorhands either, but then given some of the movies I did like, I am not about to make fun of anyone else's selection!  ;D

I think they should make a multitool version of edward.....you could give him all sorts of tools, have to be a sog though so he could go prepared for every eventuality.

I've never seen it either so I thought I get it ( bargain at £3 from Tesco's ) . I'm a huge fan of Tim Burton films and Johny Depp . They make a great combo , a bit like a Swisstool and a Climber  ;D I really loved sleepy Hollow . Thats got to be one of my all time favourite films .

I thought you were going to suggest a multitool with many pairs of scissors inside!

Sleepy Hollow was nice because I think it was one of the first times we saw Johnny Depp act and not just stand there, looking dark.  That was one of the reasons I liked the Pirates movies so much.  It was nice to see him play something other than a brooding heartthrob!

Of course Christopher Walken really made that movie! :D

Yup- Kim and I saw it when it first came out.  Not a bad bit of filmmaking at all, which kind of surprised me when I saw it was from Disney, who I have long thought of as one of the biggest sell outs in the world.

Used to be Disney was all about a good story, but in the last fifteen years or so it's more a case of "how many celebrities can we squeeze into this film?"

If you doubt that, ask yourself who played Snow White, any of the seven dwarves, Taran the pig keeper, or Bambi.

Worst part is, ol' Walt built a heck of a company that didn't have to bow down to rampant commerSmurfpillsm.  At least here in Canada, Sunday nights were always reserved for Disney, even more than hockey.

But then I guess I am getting too political, cynical or nostalgic.  Or all of the above! :D

I work a night job so I usually get bored after midnight. Right about now, most everyone gets off here before then so I post some, eat some ice cream and go to bed around 2-3am.

Yeah, I was shocked that we had a thread go from 0 to 3 pages in one day! About ninjas and pirates with no mention of robots vs. bears.

My ninja bretheren, how could you?

C-3PO was a wuss robot.  Let's see the "ole wookie" go up against one of the Terminator robots or even a robot ninja.

R2 D2 is just a futuristic multitool.  Leatherman started making them too big to fit on a belt sheath so they started to put motivators in them!
