Hmm, it's nice to see that SOG has been using the PowerAssist frame for more than just the PowerAssist; too bad they never /told/ anyone.  ::)  Still, Marlin Spike and V-cutter as outside opening tools?  Neat. :D  Chako, do your thing, since although I have no need for one, it looks too cool to not have a picture documentary of it. :3

Wow, that's interesting. Different versions of the PowerAssist eh? I wonder how long before there's a Paladin electronics version? :)

Thought #2:
I'm still not thrilled about SOG moving some of their manufacturing overseas, but the upside is that its cheaper for them to crank out these niche variations. :-\

I think it's kind of dumb that they're using the PowerAssist frame with no spring assist, then leaving the middle section completely empty with a big black spacer.
Half-ass done wholeheartedly!

Amici,
Pretty interesting and so far I can't find it anywhere listed with my usual sources, not even ebay.. Didn't it also look like the main blade had a stud for OHO?

Cheers,
Serge

The main blade and V-cutter looked like that, in fact.

Yeah looks like the head has them.

But they put the V cutter in a non-replaceable assisted location, don't like that.

There is one in Petoskey ;) that is not too far, may try to get over there when we head up to Mackinaw City

I've been told that the West Marine Fishing Tool is being recalled due to an unspecified quality issue. :(

SOG releasing a MT before it is ready, NO I find that hard to believe  :P :P :D :D :D. I guess it is a different variation on the constantly delayed release date approach to product release. I wonder if the Fishing Tool will ever reappear   :D
