complete my alox farmer pioneer cadet series!

Hi folks;

3 Weeks ago I just had three alox SAKs and decided to get an member of this forum.
After reading a lot of here, some of you infected me with the the SAK collectors virus.
I was planning to start easy, but now it goes fast.I don't have the patience to take it easy.
I just started to try complete the pioneer and farmer series but thanks to Neil I have
to comlete the cadet series to. All with the silver shield logo's.
I find some here and some on the the bay and some elswere on the internet.
It was easy till now and some prices are rising over the top but I am on the way now.
But you guys have to help me out to tell me what I  missing now and maybe some of
you can sell me what I'm missing to.

What I know I'm missing and try to buy is the hunter green cadet, it just produced for
target  I find out, and is not for sale out of the US and hard to get for me.
Also I needs the black and metal gun grey cadets I can not find.
Also I needed the red farmer.
What collors more I,m missing I don't know. Maybe you can help me out.

I see you're looking for a red Farmer; I have one (I think only one) that's NIB with brass liners that's red alox with old cross for $55 shipped first class abroad.   Oh, and if you want to start a Solo collection, I have a NIB old cross red alox Solo for $40 shipped first class abroad; getting both would actually be less than getting them separate, seeing as I'm ballparking shipping prices.

I found out there are also violet and orange farmers.
New for this month are dark grey farmers and black farmers are comming out soon.

The grey farmer and the brown , blue ,orange and green pioneers arrived today.
I also have the red farmer on the way now.

From the farmers I only WTB the orange and violet but they are not to find
at this moment. But I don't give up.

The pioneers are compleet. Only I have to put in an new silver one to replace the used one.
The silver pioneer and cadet are easy to get.
The damast is on my wish list.

The cadets, I WTB the silver, black and gunmetal .The black and gunmetal are hard to get to.
The copper one is stil on the way but the seller was not sure it was orange or copper. I have
to wait a few days to be sure.

Hmm, at the rate you are collecting you will probably be into the old cross SAKs sooner than you think , and knowing their generally high ebay prices, you'll be kicking yourself for having let a good red alox + brass liners bargain go. Of course, its hard when collecting to anticipate which way your tastes will go in the future - I could take my advice to an absurd extreme, and advise you to buy scientists, Mausers, Beanie babies and faberge eggs now in anticipation of future need.

Aha!  Perhaps you could help answer a question for me Wayne.  Is the light blue alox Classic (issued at the same time as the pink and light green) the same shade as the blue issued earlier?

They certainly look different in the photos but you will need to ask someone who owns them for an answer. I only bought a couple of these and do not have any blue to speak of that I remember. I seem to remember SwissBianco having a photo of each color for those newer colors in question on his Photobucket account.

Maybe Francis can answer this question since I think the above posted knives are his photos of his knives on the SAKWicki.
