Thought some of you guys might find this interesting. There is an article in this months Popular Mechanics about inventors. Tim Leatherman's prototype for what would become the PST is mentioned. Here is the shots from the article.

There's not much in the article that we don't already know about how Tim came up with the idea for the PST. It describes more the process and drive it takes a person to bring a idea from prototype to market. It just starts out with Tim leathermans idea and those pictures.
