Thinking about parkerizing.

I've seen that people have duracoated their multitools. I dont really care for it. However I was thinking about parkerizing one of my leathermans.
Any input on my idea?

Parkerizing generally doesn't work on stainless. There are other finished you could try, though.

I purchased a parkerizing kit some years ago, it seemed like such a chore that I aborted the mission. It required sterno cookers, foil tubs for the bath etc.. Leave it to the professionals on this one..
