Personally I think you're hard pushed to beat a Parker for a non-disposable. No, its not posh but they last and last.
The problem with the Fisher AG7 is the cartridge release button tends to sporadically slip while writting, causing your pen to retract. If you're interested in a Fisher pen, I'd recommend the bullet pen. They come in a variety of colors and take their most common refill.
Day to day I find the cheap Parker Jotter with the plastic barrel a better bet than the SS model. More comfortable to use. I sometimes find after prolonged use my fingers slip a bit on the metal versions. They did use to do an all steel model with little ridges at the bottom . Not seen one for sale though
I once dropped a steel barrel one on the floor and it dented in the cartridge opening making the pen useless. That wouldn't have happened with the plastic barrel version.
