Just bought this one today  8).

I just couldn't resist, although I already own five Waves (old style, new style, new style BO and two 25th Anniversary Editions  :D), but this one was "special" ...  ;)

(Image removed from quote.)

Edit: Pictures taken indoors, with smartphone ... I hope I can take some good pics tomorrow.

Would love to know the "special" story!  :like:

If you have big pockets

with the trouser issue that I've been having lately, no pocket is big enough. and before you ask, a lot of straight model trousers fit like skinny models to the point where locally my friends have begun a new game of "your legs..." which is in the line of all those "yo mamma" jokes

I own 2x 2012  waves. Had a 2008 wave that I must have dropped on fishing trip, never found it again. No mods.

Has anyone tried the newest wave with replaceable cutters? Are the plierheads as weak as the rumors say? ???

Some pics of three generations of the Wave.

I took these pics for this topic, but I thought I should post them here also, what better place to post pics of three generations of the Wave than in the Wave owners club, right ?

So maybe you've already seen some of them  ;).

And here's a pic of one of my 25th Anniversary Waves  8).

I bought two of them a couple of weeks ago, found them brand new in box with the special grey nylon sheath for a great price (a lot cheaper than a "regular" Wave around here  :D).

I feel something is a bit off with Poncho's Wave, but can't put my finger on it

Yes, I have had that blade in there for over 8 years (maybe longer) :ahhh Kwakster was kind enough to send it to me way back then :tu: It holds a great edge but I will admit the Wave hasn't seen an extreme amount of use ::) :D

Great pic Poncho  :tu:.

For some reason I'm all drawn to the Wave again ...  Same thing happend when we had the Wave Challenge a couple of years ago, after solely using the Wave for the entire month, I rediscovered what a great tool it actually is  :D.

On the other hand, I tend to switch from time to time, I've carried the Wave as EDC for a long time, followed by the ST300 and my Swisschamp, which got replaced by three years of carrying the Spirit, which was replaced by the Wave again cause we had the challenge (and I carried it for a couple of months after the challenge was finished  ;)),  until it got replaced by the Surge ... and now I'm back to the Wave again :D.

And I do carry other tools during these periods, depending on where I'm going and what my tool needs are, obviously.

So many tools to pick from, and most of them can handle just about anything you throw at them ... we're just a bit spoiled I guess  :D

:climber: :multi:.

Thanks TG :salute: I find myself with to many choices to pick from most of the time :ahhh

I like to carry most of them and most of the tools I carry suit my needs for what I use them for

I try to swap up as much as I can to carry different tools though but I do tend to drift towards some more than others :D
