Ouch!

What is the tool you most often hurt yourself with?
For me it has to be the pruning blade! It is the sharpest blade on all my SAK and especially the vintage ones as i don't think it is used very often. On top of that it's really pointy and it has the habit of grabbing my fingers

I have been cleaning some old ones this morning and i must have cut myself at least three times with this damn blade...

:pok: Buy some kevlar gloves :D

For me its the 58mm blade.  They are just too small and are the tool that has caused me the most injuries, though all quite minor I'm glad to say.

Second most lethal is the saw.  They've taken a few layers of skin ::)

An honorary mention needs to go to the can opener.  Probably because I don't think of it as a sharpened tool and treat it with less caution  :-[
I'm not taking any more mod orders at present, sorry.

Definitely the saw for me, mostly because of the bloody mess it makes when you are stupid enough to stick yourself with it  :ahhh

I have had a few 108mm Vic blades snap onto a finger. For me, the main blade.

That would be my first. Mostly because I seldom use it as a can opener... ::)

Amici,
Main blade scarred up for life here.. Reason being is that I'm constantly touching up the edges of my SAK or Swisstools with a ceramic rod, and I'm one of those folks that absolutely HATE any type of finger print being left on a blade so I'm also constantly wiping them down with whatever may be handy..

Problem is with all that sharpening it does what to an edge? It becomes really SHARP!

So I can't tell you how many times I've sliced right through a rag and into a hand or a fingertip due to the slightest distraction or a quick head turn.. All I can say is OUCH!

Cheers,
Serge

For me it's a tie between the saw and the 74mm orange peeler blade of doom.  It was deceptively sharp.  You wouldn't think oranges would put up enough of a fight to need the sharp edge that sharp.
