Black Pioneer, special numbered run.  This one was advertized as dark-grey, but looks as black as any other I have.  It has "Switzerland" printed on the bottom scale in the 4 official languages of the country, with 2011 stamped on the blade as well as its individual number from the run.

There is a small difference to the real black ones. In the picture you can see it. Top is the dark-grey and below the black Farmer. But it's visible only if you have them side by side and with daylight...  ;)

Thanks, I'll check again tomorrow in good daylight and see if mine has any difference.

The mailman just brought me these goodies.  I got a 4 pack of the black pioneers for $100 on ebay, which seemed good to me.   The 91mm compact at the top is a donor knife, for the scissors and combo tool.  I'm just waiting on the brass rod now, and then I can get modding!

Cheers!

YOU! *points and laughs*  :ahhh   :ahhh

I'm positive that those are Golfers, that's why I was bidding on them. If it wasn't the end of the year, one of us would have been paying more. Glad they went to someone here.

Here are a couple of old exposed rivet Victorinox SAK's. An Executive and a Classic. The Executive has hand written on the back side "George Patton" and a phone number. I am sure it is not THE George Patton but the knife is an old Victoria knife.

For what you paid, you got two Golfers for a decent price plus two bonus Waiters.

While I was in Iraq the past 6-7 months, I ruined my bank account via E-bay and a few other sources.  Some of the pics below are with knives I previously had, but complete a set-picture.

Here we go:

84mm: Salesman NIB, Climber (small), [2x Tinkers previously owned]; tis a shame Vic does not make 84mm's with scissors anymore.

Red Alox: Farmer NIB, [previously owned First Mate, Pioneer w/ & w/o key ring], all brass liners

Craftsman, no pliers, 1970s to 1986: NIB, [previously owned], 1985, 1986.  Note the bottom flat-bladed screwdriver differences and the Phillips driver from the 1970's to the 1980's

Same group, WITH a Handyman....only difference is the corkscrew vs. the Phillips driver.  It amazes me: many confuse this era Handyman and call it a pre-1973 (mag glass and Phillips) Champion.

Woodsman: Top- 1990's; Bottom- 1980's  Note the # of tools on the bottom between the two.

Grand Prix series: early 1970s (gold cross and Model-T), [previously owned] 1990's NIB, 2x 1980-1982 (square Phillips) (to show front and back).  I am working on some other Grand Prix knives to complete this series.

Outdoorsman 1970s (NOT the Marlboro ones from circa 1993): Top is NIB Elinox version with 5-turn corkscrew and gold enlayed cross and Camping emblem; the pics do NOT do it justice, BEAUTIFUL knife!!!.  Bottom is 4-turn corkscrew but has replaced scales.

1960's Master Craftsman.  I think one has had the wood saw blade replaced, notice the teeth.  When my newest acquisition Master Craftsman comes in (late 1970's), I will do another pic with those 3 plus a Space Shuttle, and the "franken" Master Craftsman I also got.
MOLON LABE!

I can't tell if your being sarcastic or serious. I actually just ordered two Orange Cadets. One will be kept unopened and the other is being engraved and carried.  :D I understand why you would hate engravings on SAK'S, but i'm not planning on ever selling mine.  :tu:
