Just back from a two-week trip to Portugal. Had a great time. Lots of interesting locations and great food.

Picked up a trio of Vics while there. The Spartan has a montage of black and red roosters, one of the symbols of Portugal. Also a pair of Classic Flags, one white and one black.

Glad you liked it here! There are a couple more of Portugal themed Spartans:
Lisbon Tram

Caravel / Portuguese tiles
(Image removed from quote.)

Managed to pick up both of those before I went. Just as well, as I never saw them in Portugal.

Enjoyed Porto and the north of Portugal more than Lisbon. More interesting architecture and shorter lines. High point was probably the Monastery at Batalha.

Really really cool one. Add pliers to it!

Descriptions I'm reading for this SAK say it comes with a "wire cutter"...am I missing something?

Waiting for a Wenger Laser to arrive  :ahhh

Bought it for $ 9.50

Including shipping  :D

Hope the laser pointer still works

Now I only need two AAAA batteries. I read that some 9V batteries have six AAAA size batteries inside them. Does anyone know if this is the case with 9V Duracell or Varta (I know I have those at home)?

Turns out this thing won't arrive  :(

After hearing nothing for days after the seller confirmed the receipt of the payment I asked him if the knife was shipped already. Got a reply in which he claimed he can't find the package anymore and offered a refund.

But I also saw he changed something in the ad after he confirmed the receipt of the payment, which is something you would only do if you were still planning to sell the item. So I think he just realised the Wenger Laser is worth more, or got a better offer, and decided not to honor a less attractive agreement that was already made  >:(

If the seller received a big offer on the knife and simply and honestly explained the situation to me I would have understood, I wasn't planning on tricking him into selling it for an extremely low price. He placed the ad a week ago (on a Dutch online Marketplace) and I simply asked him what he wanted for it, and his answer was € 8.50 including shipping, I agreed with that not knowing if the laser pointer still worked. But now single-handedly deciding not to honor a standing agreement and giving me a BS excuse for it? That's not something I would do
