I bought a Spirit X with the pointed blade yesterday.  It's my second Spirit, the other has the butter blade.

First things first however, this thing is old stock and the battery has corrosion. Don't want to risk damaging my new Laser SAK using a bad battery. Gonna have to buy a new battery before the Laser Fun starts for the cat :D

Amici,
Here is my latest addition to my collection, a Vic Camper.. Although I'm not crazy about the corkscrew, once I saw this particular model was of the fluted variety, I just had to get it.. Plus it was NOS, so it came with a crisp red box, and I have to admit, I also like the logo on old school solid Cellidor scales as well...   :like:

Funny thing also, the new style miniature screwdriver fits the flouted corkscrew perfectly.. Unlike so with a Champion that I have from about he same time of production. That's all "PAT" to utliize

Cheers,
Serge

First, I LOVE the Camper, and especially that exact model!  It is sentimental as it was my first SAK....so I believe that one you have there is circa 1986, thereabouts.

glen, that's a nice find too!  Congrats to you both!

What year did the inlay tent/teepee get replaced with the hotstamp tent? My Ranger is my only Camping SAK currently and it has the (IMO) least-cool variation of screened tent AND screened cross. Has the latest metal file, but that printed cross seems like a cut-corner money-saver on Vic's part.

Always looking on ebay for beaten up inlay tent SAKs to harvest scales and buff them out.

But in all cases I love the camping design! Were there ever any blue or black Camping scales? I've seen the fish on blue.

Sure is an interesting one, nice snag!
my keywords i searched goggle & yahoo for: Coat of Arms , Ram , Green, yellow , castle , tower , black Ram ,  jumping Ram , leaping Ram.... i searched "images" also with the words jumbled in many diff orders/ways.

Nice buy! glad to see someone here get it! It was floating around for $24.99 for a while before it was relisted...I almost grabbed it myself just because of the price. I stay away from colorful alox too unless its a crazy deal.  I can't be dropping $100 on a SAK at this point. But I can look at them! :tu:
