$26.75 shipped, early morning Woodsman snag.

Cheaper than a Mexico reissue anyway. Saw some Huntsman Lites for around the same price but I dig the earlier 80s vibe of this one with the smooth backside, screw sciss', fluted, crossbow, gray mag etc. I guess between '85 and '91?

Score!  Hard to find a Woodsman, I had to buy the Mexico reissue, nice catch!

Was still in bed this morning and grabbed my phone and saw it pop up on ebay. Was trembling as I quickly checked over the blade tips as I've sprung on things too quickly in the past. Was listed as an Explorer.  :tu:

I've been on ebay for the last 48 hours in the background alllllll day waiting for anything cool. Somebody got a long nail file Climber for $62...hoping it was somebody here.

I was also watching that LNF climber but I forgot about it, and then it ended

I also was watching a Clipper yesterday, and also forgot about that one.
The clipper went for a bit more than I was willing to offer so I didn't feel too bad about forgetting that one  ::)

Great catch on the Woodsman

Love that colour combo, really works well! The Electrician is particularly awesome! Where did this run originate from? Not heard of that one

It was ordered by a fishing club in Switzerland. Really hard to find.

Okay, thanks. Great catch (excuse the pun)! :-)

:tu: there was also one of those saw/metal file/no scissors ones from that pre-swisstool tool set with the weird shaped pliers.  Also kinda expensive.

That's still my go to SAK. Just used mine for some electrical work and for making some marks on the wall (I'm busy walllapering (is that a verb?), the ball point pen does write on bare concrete effortlessly :) ).

While deliberating whether to get the Cybertool Lite (Cybertool 34 with light & magnifier), I completed the purchase of a regular Cybertool 34. Picturing the prospect of using this with my Explorer if magnification is needed, I purchased the Cybertool 29 as well to have a smaller form factor Cybertool (picture dialated pupils and shaking hands with the declaration that I can stop anytime I want).

(The look on the face of this emoticon cracks me up!  My wife would probably say that I have the same expression when using my SAKs)

Cybertool Sunday up in here, congrats on those snags. Just grabbed this CT41 (I call it 41 and not L since it's got the pre-2005 blade and version 3 metal file, which I prefer if using it on fingernails)

Tools look good, scales look rough. Going to try and buff them but the scratches look deep and I may just swap them out.

Just completed a purchase for a NIB CT 34!  Hmmm...3 CT SAKs in less than 24 hours!

Congratulations JamesJ on your purchase!  I saw one CT 41 on ebay but thought it was pricey for a TSA confiscation (not to mention knowing that the owner was stripped of his/her quality SAK).  I understand that the CT 41s are pretty scarce since they are out of production.  Replacing the scales should be pretty easy if you can't buff out the scratches.  The scales on my first CT 34 purchase are scratched and pitted and I will be replacing them.

This was supposed to be SwissChamp Sunday but it's turned out to be Cyber Tool Sunday!

Cheers!

Jim

but thought it was pricey for a TSA confiscation

This was $50 shipped, which may be too much for some but I was ok with it for this model. The tools look to be in good condition.
I have a set of classic red Plus scales lying around but I was gonna use those for a MOD. I like the blue though and hopefully I can buff them out.

I start at 1000 grit if the scratches are really deep, then work up to 3000 at 500grit intervals, then polishing compound, and I just switched over to dremel with fluffy polishing balls instead of doing it by hand.

I don't mind them getting "character" from use, I just don't want it to be some other guy's "character". So I like to clean them up as much as I can and then start using them.  The only thing is I've had a couple logos fall out in the past because I sanded away too much material.

$50 shipped?  Well done!  I completely agree with your character policy.  I have a couple of SAKs waiting for a new start.  I would be interested in how the sanding goes with the translucent scales. Too much sanding and the removable tools will not sit flush.  Of course, you could also sand the tweezers, tooth pick & pen.  $50!!!  Maybe you should pick up a lottery ticket while  you're hot!

I've been a lurker here since October, when I bought a Super Tinker at Smoky Mountain Knife Works in Sevierville, but this is my first post. I found the forum that evening, and have been enabled by you ne'er do wells that hang out around here to grow my collection since then. LOL!

I've already found a German Solingen knife with black scales, and my In-Laws gave me an Electrician for Christmas. I also found this Wenger Evo13 at a flea market last Saturday for a whopping $6! It goes without saying that it HAD to come home with me, and it's already replaced my German model for keychain duty!
