Anyone interested in 108mm SAKs should click the link in my signature :pok: :pok:

You seem to have one I need.......But the budget won't allow it. But I will keep you in mind.

Hmmm.... no 108mm I need... but I saw something red that looks good and would go along quite nicely with its Blue and Green brothers.

Good lookin' vintage SAK's. I live in a small antique hunters paradise of a town. I finally get around to looking at all the antique stores for vintage Victorinox knives? None. Someone, whom I suspect is the Moriarty to my Sherlock. gets there before me and buys them.

Fortunately that's what eBay is for. I got my eye on one there....but I don't dare say which one. I don't want it to be taken from me. It might be the best to go into my collection.

A nice older Standard with clip point small blade and nickel silver shield. I spent some time polishing the scales up.

I got a couple through today. First is my one and only "non-user" SAK - it appears to be for the British Olympic team from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics - most unusual. I was tempted to make this a user this for the sake of it  >:D but after receiving it I've decided not to ... or not just yet  ;)
I hope Chrissy doesn't mind me using her pic.

I also got a Ruby Voyager Lite which is BRILLIANT! Normally my SAK's get well battered and bruised in their working lives, but I'll need to sort out a sheath of some kind to protect this one. I can't see it lasting long if it gets chucked in a pocket with keys and change like the others  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh I wasn't expecting the light to be quite so ... humble ... I must admit, but I'm really liking the clock and timer features, particularly as I don't wear a wrist watch

 :D :D :D

Maybe based on what it's commemorating I should use it in short bursts for a fortnight every four years, and then practice using it (with other knives) for the rest of the time

I think they took the front scale of one just like yours, removed the Victorinox shield, cut out the space for the corkscrew and put in on the back side of my SAK :D

Probably not :D

Ha ha... I was confused for a moment as well... while Nuphoria may be Strange Fruit, in this case I beleive she was just replying to a previous message where 50ft-trad had apparantly used one of her images for that fancy Olympics knife.

I got this beauty in today :

CT34 with I'm guessing custom scales. The apple logo's 's not a decal or stickon, it's under the plastic, but it seems to be on the wrong side, the Victorinox logo's normally opposite the tweezers, not on the same side. And the back scales, that normally have the advertising on them, have a slightly rounded Victorinox shield on them. Tang stamps are Victorinox though.

It's not very uncommon to have the company logo on the front and the Vic shield on the back :)
Cool CT :tu:
And I don't even like Apple ;)

I didn't know that, most SAK's I've seen had the shield on the front. But don't you think the shield looks too rounded? Guess I'm still a SAK-n00b ;) Also, it's got tweezers, but a pen, tootpick and tweezers, but no pin.

The pin hole is under the corkscrew. If your pin is missing you can replace it with any regular pin.

I knew that :) But I did not see a pin there, so I assumed there was no hole, but upon closer inspection, there is. I was thinking of buying the SOSAK-kit, so I've got stock :)

Its a strange 2 bladed Wenger with locking serrated blade. I know some have this model and we have discussed it before somewhere on this forum.
