Lots of nice additions folks.
Here's mine:

 :like:

The only draw-back is that you can't do this...

 :climber:
I know!  I'm tempted to open up the package.
I must say that if you keep it in the packaging, it will be more prone to moisture... unless you store it in an air-tight container or temp controlled thingy...

Just saying :pok:

Arrived home just now to find a package on my study table... Yes, the Swisschamp just arrived... will give it some spa and tlc over the weekend...

Also got another used Compact yesterday... Swapped the backtools from a tinker and I get a custom Compact Tinker. Polished up the scratched scales and sharpened the blade... It got some pocket time today...

I'm especially partial to the Tinker vs. Spartan configuration and think that you have created the ideal Compact (more compact with Philips vs. Corkscrew).

Very well done!

Thanks Jim... Although others have done the same way before mine... Syph007 recently made some Ti versions as well...

Yellow Executive in mint condition. Quite uncommon actually. I know of only one or two others (my 74mm with cheese scales).

This old Spartan just arrived.   Looks like someone burned the tip of the small blade at some point  :twak:

After a little TLC this Spartan is a nice addition to the collection.  The burn on tip came out with some polishing, still slight bend at the tip of the small blade but nbd.  I didn't want to do too much to this one as it held up well for its age. Got it along with a newer Spartan & Tinker for $6.25!   :tu:

Been on a bit of a shopping spree today...

We bough a car about two weeks ago. So there were a couple of reasons to get a Rescue Tool:
- Get ourselves out of the car.
- Cut someone else out of a car
- An excuse to get a Rescue Tool
- Heck, just a reason to get a Rescue Tool!

Also I was in the market for a Climber with a file on the Multipurpose Hook as a present for my girlfriend.
But I think I got my facts wrong as the seller didn't think it existed. But he was helpful and suggested the Compact.
And in fact, it's such a nice knife I want to keep it for myself! That's a lot of functionality in a small package!
I bought a NIB second hand. Looks terrific.

And as the rule goes, if you buy someone a present you should also get yourself one. Or isn't that a rule? I dunno, today it was.
The Huntsman caught my eye and I decided it had to come home.

The Rescue Tool and the Huntsman are both second hand and in good condition. Though a bit rough to open and close. The Rescue Tool smelled heavily of WD40 and had a lot of fine sand in it. I ran a sink of warm water and dish soap and got rid of most of the dirt. A stiff brush got rid of the rest.

Then I put the knives in a Bacta Tank...

Well, not really. It's just an ultrasonic cleaner. Though the blue LED lights up the StayGlo scales on the Rescue Tool nicely!
I also gave the bright red and yellow case a scrub. Everything is drying on the radiator now.
Tomorrow I'll check id they are dry and apply a little bit of Victorinox oil or Ballistol.

I find the Rescue Tool very impressive. As all 111mm it feels great in the hand. The large StayGlo scales are very nice and glow strongly. The print on the scales are in very good condition. I removed the Glass-Breaker and Disk-Saw to give it a good clean and noticed that relieves the tension of the back layer tools. Great for easy cleaning!

This video demonstrates the SAK nicely. I'd love to cut out a window!

The Huntsman is a very nice compact knife, ideal for a picnic or a day in the woods. I really like it. According to Victorinox.com it does not come with a  Mini Screwdriver and Pin. I'll add them later. I might change the scales to camo. But then again, if I can get my hands on StayGlo or Yellow scales that might also be an option.

Here's a new-to-me mod that I had some say in the way it was built.
I call it my Master Carpenter.
What is suspiciously missing is the opener layer, I didn't want it.  I wanted a working tool that houses my most used tools on any given day (except the wood saw which I love and never use).
This has:
Phillips on the back layer.
Chisel on the back layer.
Scissors
Pliers
Wood saw
Main blade
And....a technician screwdriver.
All this and plus scales (I haven't even put my items in the scales yet).

It's only 4 layers thick.
I'm going to put this into the rotation and see if it's everything I hope it is.

Looks great. Interesting scales. Is there a Multipurpose Hook on the back? Do you use it often?
Even though I wouldn't want to miss it, it's not my most used tool.

, Yes, there is a multipurpose hook on the back, I forgot to open it up and put it in the list.  I don't use that tool much at all, but I think it filled a spot on the back side.
