Thanks!  Considering how popular that SAK is here, I was surprised that it only cost me $94.  I thought of picking up the Scientist (at $103 last I checked) but it doesn't have the same appeal to justify the expense.  I noticed that there were some buy-it-now Woodsman SAKs (6 available when I first checked).  At the price quoted, I think that they are re-issued models.

Thanks!  Your Yeoman photos were a strong influence and I was very susceptible due to my partiality to magnifiers and inline philips drivers.

The drooling emoticon is hilarious...almost as funny as the popcorn emoticon.  Great entertainment!

Thata Böker?

Top one's a Case 2-blade Folding Hunter with jigged wood handles.

Some of the recent threads on traditional folders rekindled my interest in them, and lead me to picking up a few. As if I need need something else to spend my money on.

Beautiful knife. They have one in a glass case at a local antique shop that I visit every now and again. They have it priced at $85. I don't know much about them, so I keep passing it up.

New ones are in the $50 to $90 range, depending on handles. Collecting Case knives is a very popular hobby, with minor changes in markings and handles making a major difference in price. I have a handful of them, bought new, but that's a collecting field where you need a lot of knowledge and a lot of money.

That's what I figured. The prices that some go for on eBay are startling. I own a few and they are a great knife, but I'll continue to watch from afar for now.

I am SO excited! My latest SAK is in the mail now, due to delivery tomorrow.

This is a SAK I'm after for a very long time now.

Can't wait!

After my initial disappointing experience with a badly scarred Solo I was a bit sceptical to buy online again, but it said new in box... soooooo ::)
