it may be a user,  but I am very happy to have this one.

a guy a work with found this in a car he bought.  I told him what it was and that it is not a common model.  he tried to give it to me for free (he knows I am a nut about SAKs), but I would not let him.  I gave him a choice among some knives, and he is decing which one he wants, but so far, a used Climber is the winner.

If I can help, let me know

Tock tock, tick tock, tick tock...

Sorry for the cliffhanger guys.

Today, my Solo made short work of the packaging.

Inside is this beauty, a new in box TimeKeeper. In black!

I think it has been on display somewhere, the manual is a bit discoloured.

Apart from a bit of dried in oil the knife is in absolute pristine condition!
I love the old style Mini Screwdriver.

And this is the clock, removed from the scales. The manual states that it can be pried out with the Mini Screwdriver, but my nails did the trick. That way I didn't damage the scales.
The battery is dead and a white powder creeped from it's edges. A quick blow in the battery compartment cleaned it all out. Now all I need is a battery!
And look at that watchface! Roman numerals! Later in it's production timeline Victorinox chaned the faceplate to numbered (1-12) hour markers. Do any of you know when this change took place?

I am so happy with this purchase. I've been on the lookout for this SAK since I can't remember when. And I was especially interested in getting a black one. (I would also have bought it if it was a red one, haha).
Getting a new in box one is a wonderful bonus!

at first I thought it was $12 for the Victorinox Dual pouch, but upon closer inspection, it is the complete Dual pouch SOS type kit with SwissChamp!!!

the seller is new, but I will take the chance.  I am super excited!!!
