Finally got my hands on a mini Golfer in the right condition and for an ok price. Took ages of bay browsing but having a lot of time for the compact it will be worth it.
And in original box!   :like:

The SAK gods looked favorably upon me today.  I spied a bail from a distance among a bunch of other junky knives I know nothing about and bought the lot for $10.  Turned out to be a Woodsman/Huntsman in pretty darn good shape, except for an unfortunate chipped tip of the main blade.   It cleaned up really nice and I'm happy to add it to the collection.  8)

I've been mulling over a Classic Rambler for some while now and finally pulled the trigger this week. Here it is with my Wild Night Spartan for Spartan Saturday. The Ramblers an impressive little package of tools :tu:

National Park Foundation Series:

The green NPF is a Tinker. All the others are Campers.

NPF, Great Smoky Mountains, Yellowstone.

Glacier, Grand Canyon, Mount Rainier.

Acadia, Rocky Mountain, Yosemite.

There is also a Mt Rushmore, but it wasn't available when I ordered.

It was a nice trip to mail box today.  I decided to reward myself for the überovertime I've been putting in.  Crazy, 2 soldiers were selling for basically the same price as one so I doubled-down.  This will be all for a LONG TIME...  I PROMISE.  :surrender:

(after, of course, my birth year soldier, and '03 soldier arrive that is  )

So I've bought my first SAK yesterday - it's a Forester and therefore it's my latest SAK as well . Love my LM Wave, but it's too heavy for hikes and I don't need pliers there. However the saw might get some work and I expect it to perform up to the rumors

Sounds familiar! When I bought my first SAK I spent hours and hours of comparing and thinking it over, and ended up with a simple Compact  :D

(of course after this first SAK another 100 SAK's followed over time...)
