Got a package from Victorinox today with the Nespresso Pioneer Livanto made out of the recycled coffee capsules . The third photo shows it next to the Copper Farmer so you can get a better idea of color.

Would you mind me asking what you payed for it?

One was offered to me in used condition with some signs of use for €70...

I bought mine directly from Victorinox for $55 USD + $6 shipping. I would have liked it cheaper, but figured OK paying full MSRP for a special edition directly from the maker.

But yeah. Sounds like that person was out to make some bucks off of you.

I think she just doesn't get all her prices straight...

Bought 2 Spirit S models from her In black oxide for €55 and 50, which is quite below the average value.

That makes sense.

Maybe Victorinox in Europe still has it?

Nope.
If I recall correctly, there isn't even a EU product number for the BO S.
Anyway. There's 2 more in stock with her so I might drop by somewhere next year to pick up the other 2.

And she's asking €35 for a Wenger SI with bail :dd:

So you see, unreal prices for some items, but great deals on others.

I don't know what SAK to start with... I like em both!

Owkay, the oldie first.

Explorer

I'm absolutely loving this one. It's a very nice size for an additional carry. And I can't stop playing with it.

Explorer tools

I believe it's a 1985-1987 Explorer, so, fluted screwdriver, no hook and no 90' stop on the bottle opener.
I do have a strong suspicion the scales were replaced at some point. I'm working on a way to figure it out without removing them.
The blue scales are something else. Perhaps that's one of the reasons I'm loving it so much.

Okay, next. This little one has been on my wish-list for a long time. It's my fourth NIB this month. I'm on a roll!

Swissmemory

I planned to use this for work, but it's mint and now I don't dare to use it  :ahhh.

SwissMemory tools

The 128MB is hopelessly outdated of course. I guess for modern standards it should be called 128 Mini Bytes
The plan is to replace the guts of the memory stick with a 128GB version. That's be nice since the number on the housing remains correct.
I learned that the USB drive is removable, that's very cool. You can use the SAK and the memory at the same time.

SwissMemory removable 128MiniByte USB Drive

All SwissMemory SAKs with a capacity below 1GB come with a low powered red LED. I've read a lot of negative reviews about this. Personally, I really like low-output LEDs. You don't always need the power of the sun to get around. It's great for finding stuff in the car when driving at night. Preserves nightvision much better than a high-power white LED.
And that's it for this delivery. I have to go on a SAK diet for at least the remainder of the month.

The latest, a Gourmet X. I built this to carry with my Spirit. I tried a while back to make a Gourmet Plus, which was ok, but I miss having the full sized scissors when carrying the Spirit, also miss having a plain edge blade, small blade, and scale tools. The Spirit has a hook, so I left it out of this one.  :salute:

Here's a shot of it with the Gourmet Plus, which has a serrated main blade and keyring. Not sure what I was thinking, the Spirit has a serrated blade, and I have come to really dislike keyrings.

Try, try again?
