BO Spirit without CC
Nice find. I think it is a DAK, because it has the post-2010 logo style (crest above Victorinox) plus the pre-2007 crest-in-plier head.

Right, the transition was 2010 for both features, shield above logo on handles and shield removed from pliers head. Also the blackout Spirit without the cap crimper is the S model with 2 blades and no scissors, probably Dutch Army, but not necessarily.

Does that have any significance?
I mean are there different BO Spirits without CC?

Not that I know of E Man, the S without CC, the X or XBS with CC, and the RT which is an X model without CC. I am not aware of any others, and am not sure if the BO S model was available without the DAK sheath or not.

I have looked for one without the CC and with scissors, but I am fairly sure they never made one, and if they did I would have at least 2 by now.  ;)

Thanks for the clarification... I was suddenly worried I would have to start collecting spirits (other than RTs, that is).

My remaining Spirit S BO has got the logo in front of the name AND the logo on the plier head? Is this a transitional model?

I think the RT also has the best pouch, small, black, with snap. I'm not much for pouch carry, but if I was I would prefer that one.

No, it's an earlier one, pre-2010.

Wow! Looks great with that white cross. Saw, electrician and small blade? What is the name of that combo? That is pretty much the way I plan to mod!

My bad! I posted hastily, I mission the white line behind the knife as a small pen blade. Now I understand it better , an electrician plus!

It's an awesome pouch for sure!

It feels and looks like leather but smells like some sort of rubber.
Leatherlook class yet waterproof?
Best of both worlds!

It´s a Trailmaster Desert, same toolset as the Soldier. Even the pics are the same, Victorinox photoshop their pictures.

Couldn't resist getting one of the last Orange Pioneers from Schweizermesser Shop. (Actually, I couldn't resist a few of the other colours either.)

I'd be interested in one with a plain blade. Serrations have never appealed to me. I am a big fan of the OHT, though.

It's kinda cool that it's not fully serrated. Roschrö is serration sensation.

The Trailmaster Desert came in just a few hours ago. Apart from the scale color and the year-of-issue tang stamp, it´s an exact copy of the Soldier.

It´s dark now and weather predictions for tomorrow aren´t promising but I´ll do some pics soon.

I like to have both plain and serrated. In 111mm the Fireman remains favorite,.

I put Fisherman´s scales on mine! I need both pliers and scissors when fishing. A scaler would not get used at all. All my fishing is trout (you don´t scale trout) and Rudd (catch-and-release).

But I'm super excited by this Urban Pioneer (X).  My chief frustration is that I'm in the middle of a LM Rebar 30-day challenge and can't carry this beauty for another 2 weeks!
