Master Craftsman

(Image removed from quote.)

Cool! That looks like the same generation NASA bought for use on the Space Shuttle missions. One thing I'd love to have is a Master Craftsman that has truly been in space, but I'm sure it would be ridiculously expensive.

Interesting... how much use would a wood saw be in space?

My best guess is its in case they land somewhere remote on their way home and need to survive a couple days before rescue comes but I have no idea

My experience with the wood saw is it works great on plastic so I would think it could be usefull for that.
Jeep the SAK of the auto world or is it SAK the Jeep of the Knife world?

I've got another Tourist on the way with a particular logo I've wanted a knife with for some time.

Holmatro is a Dutch hydraulic equipment maker known for their rescue tools sold worldwide (I would honestly say they're probably used much more widely than Hurst).  Surprises me they currently don't offer the Vic Rescue Tool with their logo, instead choosing a small strap cutter/glass breaker of their own design called the Safety Pen.  Am I the only one who thinks the (compared to big OHO knives intended for rescue use) tiny Tourist is ill-suited to rescue work?

Yeah. Definitely too expensive. How about a Swiza owned by a guy named Joe that was taken to Omaha, Nebraska, back in 2016?

Why was Joe taken to Omaha? Do his parents know? I’m sure they’re worried.

Because the Swiza had a date with a hot SAK, and Joe had to drive it.  :D

I couldn't resist this Woodsman that should be in route soon.
It might be a Nature Store special run, but the couple I've seen have the rabbit on the side with the corkscrew, so I'm unsure.

Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

What I got for Christmas, to add to my collection, the classic is probably collection material, though by no means rare yet.

Nomad may get some use, sturdier compared to Outrider and a feather compared to Soldier.
Sharp as hell too, unfortunately this picture ended picture ended up a bit unethical as one collector finger was harmed during production.

No hook
No keyring
Metal tweezers
Phillips screwdriver with cut.
I think it's a gran prix, where scales were changed

To help date it, ASEA and Brown Boveri merged to form ABB in 1988, so it has to be older than that. Great score! I've seen quite a few ABB SAKs, but no Brown Boveri SAKs.
