My latest SAK is a very good found: a very-well preserved Climber! I guess the previous owner hardly used it at all, so I'm a happy... climber!

I believe this is a first generation Master Craftsman  :D

I'm guessing between '52 & '57??

That´s the way it goes. I started with a Sentinel. Now I have 15 of them.  :D

Awesome Master Craftsman, Mr Corkscrew!

Careful Maverick - the 111mm SAKs get very chunky very quickly. The Nomad is really terrific - lightweight, wonderful blade, all the essentials - but the Atlas I found to be a bit too much to bother carrying. Same with the Hercules - I ended up selling mine. For me at least the Forester/Trailmaster is as chunky as I like to go. Though others would disagree.

Hopefully I won't get bitten by the 111mm THAT hard, haha.

Thanks for the advice! Most of my life I carried a Spartan, and I went for the Nomad because they have only what I consider the essential for a EDC, but I always wanted some pliers. When I get the Atlas, I might consider doing my first mod (removing the saw), to get him slimmer. One extra layer for pliers + phillips seems like a great trade.  :D

That would be a great SAK! Shame Victorinox doesn't make them that way from the factory!
(Also the 2017 Damascus - an Outrider without the saw - would be a great standard model - without the Damascus blade, obviously!)

Speaking of Outriders...
This one landed in the letter box today. For 20 euros I couldn't resist!

Lovely pieces everyone!

Just received 2 more today; both Wengers and both more than 50 years old!

1963 Red Alox Soldier in very good condition (tiny nicks on the blade edge, minor scratches on the scales and the can opener's tiny flathead screwdriver is a bit twisted.

Next to it an old Wenger that I'm unable to accurately identify... Should be older than 1963 if I believe the oldest Wenger catalogs I've seen. The tools are like mirrors... The condition on this one is just incredible!

My 2nd alox, a brand new Pioneer Solo, called Swiss Army 1 here in the Philippines.  I just like how solid a 93mm alox feels

I really like how slim and all-business it feels.

Might get the Pruner also in the future
