I don't need another Pioneer or a Spartan but wowzers, that Antonov two-pack is tempting!

I wasn't expecting these until Wednesday but they showed up today as a nice surprise!  "Victoria"-marked Tinker Small and something I've been hunting for a while, an Artisan (Fieldmaster Small)!  Both have square Phillips with file, and no keyring attachment.  These are going to get the full spa treatment when I get home tonight.

No sak today but scales! Lots of scales!

It's missing some back and other front scales but I'm real happy about some of those; the 4 85mm Evo front and back pairs... 2 red, 1 blue and a soft touch black, that light blue vic at the bottom left (just the front tho), the three scout fronts (forgot to grab a back to come with the 3rd front)... These candy translucent Evo 65mm... The Europe ones...

And it's all thanks to this guy:

Oh that is cool!  I'd love to visit a little shop like that in Europe some day.

I've never replaced scales on the Wengers before.  Is it as straightforward and simple as on the Vics?

Very nice SAKs TennTexan  :like: :like: :tu:
Thanks!  The more I sit here and fiddle with them, the more impressed I am with the build quality of these older Vics.  Pretty sure these both have the old nickel silver liners.  They're deceptively hefty for their size, and just feel more "substantial" than the newer ones with alox liners (not that the newer ones feel cheap by any means!).  The top scale on the artisan is loose on one end, and I'm trying to decide if I want to glue it down and keep the original, or replace it with a nice new set of black scales to match my black Fieldmaster... kind of the "Mini Me" effect.

Lovely Saks  :tu:

So they have 93mm style liners then?
Do you know when Vic started to change to aluminium on the regular SAKs?

As I was fondling and carrying my new old original Traveller (Climber without keyring) a bit (story here https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,76308.msg1652934.html#msg1652934 ) I found that it was the ideal everyday SAK for me.

But I don't want to mess it up, so I went and got myself a new Climber & put plus scales on it  :tu:

...aaand added the pin (why is it shipped without) and mini screw driver.

That's a pretty haul! I wonder what that blue alox is called, Victorinox Alox Deathwish X?

I love the gold blade on the black one. Very pretty.
