my kids used to give me fancy chocolates
like a toolset and coins with best dad
but I could never eat them as they looked so nice
A bit like your chocolate SAK
I would keep it as a display with my knives  :like: :like: :tu:

I'm keeping it as-is. I won't leave it in the sunshine or a hot car on the way back (the weather is terrible at the moment so that won't be a problem).

just bear in mind, that freezing it or putting it in a cold fridge (or other low-high temperature change) it will crystallize and re-structure the crystals in the chocolate changing it's looks, texture and taste  :salute:

Keep it warm (not hot) and stable, no sunlight or temp.changes  and should last up to 1 year without worsening in appearance or flavor   :tu:
My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

+1  :tu:
I have had mine for years now
and the chocolate has gone white
But if it's got a wrapper it doesn't matter
If you are just keeping it for display purpose  :like: :tu:

I wonder how you like the Handyman. Do you intend to carry it as EDC?

Wow, nice scores everybody!

That '55 SAK is amazing. A bit out of my league for the moment I'm afraid, but luckily I can drool over pictures like this instead!

And that orange SAK is very nice also. Do you like to keep the screenprint/advertising on there or do you remove it?

In the meantime I'm still waiting for my SwissCard Quattro. Because it is taking so long I decided to order another, a SwissCard Lite. I'm hoping it's the old version with red LED!
Also coming in, a Maglite Mini I intend to pair with a 111mm. I'm aiming for some sort of outdoor kit so I'll be needing a pouch also. A work in progress!

Latest for me, and it's been a while since I bought a SAK, is this Swiss Tool X Plus Ratchet:

I'd handled the ratchet, extensions and bits before as I acquired some for a different setup, but had never handled any Swiss Tool before I unboxed it late yesterday. I'm quite impressed. Should have bought one long ago! Must apologize for the lighting which doesn't do the finish on the Swiss Tool any justice. A quick and dirty photo using existing room lighting and the reflections in the polished SS show it.
