jnoxyd, that's a beauty!  Glad you found it!

My latest is this wood one.  The tools the seller pulled out were those of a Climber, but I think it may be a Huntsman and he didn't show the wood saw.

Todays mail call part I:

(Image removed from quote.)

One is a Zwanenburg DAK.

(Image removed from quote.)

Here it is compared to the Victorinox DAK:

(Image removed from quote.)

(Image removed from quote.)

There's also a Part II to todays mail call, but that one was delivered at the neighbours because I wasn't home. Unfortunately now the neighbours are gone. So frustrating: Through the window I can see the box in their hall, waiting for me to pick it up!

Would you look at that! The Zwanenburg has the interservice logo on the otherside!
That's good to know, makes it super easy to distinguish the two online in bad photo's!

I was looking for this knife for many years, finally got it (Image removed from quote.)

Fantastic. I want one of those too! It's the thinnes SAK sporting the coke spoon pharmaceutical spatula right?

Yesterday's mail calls...

Classic SD Alox LE 2016
Classic SD LE 2016 - Wilhelm Tell
2 nylon Wenger pouches and 10 leatherette Wenger pouches (1 franc each for the 12 of them so 12 francs for the whole lot, including shipping!)

I've got 1 more knife mail today, got some back from the spa and found another nice piece on the market... Pics to come later :D

Why do I never find these deals - Was it listed as such?
 - I guess not - Lucky deal - Well done
Those are highly desirable and I reckon usually go for top dollar !!

MiniChamp XL
Wow the elusive MiniChamp XL - Awesome
So starting to work through the list eh  ??

Hey - We don't have a pic of the XL in the Wiki - Can I steal yours please. That one above looks pretty good as is   :)
If OK - Let me know how/if you want the pic credited in the Wiki gallery.

If we need to discuss offline - Just PM me please

It's not exactly a SAK, not even a proper GAK, but I'll just share anyway: I found a GAK derivative from Mil-Tec with pliers. The quality is so-so, and there are some rust spots here and there, but I feel it's unique enough to deserve a place in the collection.

Huntsman, yes I have 9 to go on my list, then I guess I'll start another list.  :D
I don't mind you using the photo, but the MiniChamp XL is only in red cellidor from my understanding, so the black scales would be a bit misrepresenting.

Edit: I cannot be certain that mine is original though.  All of the other photos I've seen of XLs has the slanted part of the nail file facing the other direction than mine.
