Hi everyone, I am new here. I had a Wenger Backpacker II that my uncle bought me when I used to visit him and my aunt in Michigan during summers, in my early teens. I still have it but have recently become obsessed with SAK's. I have something very special coming on Tuesday but for now I am super stoked about this - it's a Compact (probably my favorite SAK model) with Swiss Bianco Titanium scales. I also put in a Firefly ferro rod in place of the toothpick and added a lanyard and bead. The best part is these scales are true "Plus" scales which means they support the pen and needle.

Year of the Holy Cow Classic?

 :like:
Thanks all, it was a little like Year of the Overpay Classic, but I could not resist!  I don't even know the origins of the logo, can't find it on Google images etc.

It might be a special to the annual "Almabtrieb" event...

That would be cool!  :tu:
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Thought you might appreciate this one, Lisa.

I had gotten rid of my backpacker, now have a brand-spankin' new Backpacker II with el corkscrew!

Something about those saw blades.  It's funny... I tend to favor the 3 layers over the 4 layers generally...  Love the Climber, PX, or Traveler... or the Camper, Backpacker or Farmer.. but hardly ever carry a Huntsman or other 4 layer w/ scissors and saw

Welcome to  :MTO: David  :waving:

That a very nice Climber you have.
I tend to favourite 3 layer SAKs too.

Maybe you want to introduce yourself in the New Member forum as well? :D

I don't recall ever seeing that SE pattern on a SAK before  :o, looks like shallower and smaller than the usual half serrated blades fro Vic and Wenger  but I  :like:  the anyways!
