A SHIINYYYY Ranger which just came from the courier! I bought this second hand but it turned out to be brand new!

I've been looking for a tool between a thick Swisschamp (awesome tool set but I hate the fish scaler and don't want that magnifier) and a Climber (a very basic tool but lacks saw+file). A Ranger looks like a perfect between-tool. Though, if it had those pliers (and maybe the beloved inline philips of the Swisschamp, too), I would create a religion for it  :D :D

God, yes! That's the model I've been searching for! AFAIK this is a discontinued model (which saddens me) and I had forgotten its name, thank you for reminding. A mixture of the Handyman and the Hercules (beacuse of the philips I've mentioned) would be lovely!

Thanks!  :tu:

The Farmer was my second, after the Pioneer Solo. With the opener layer removed, now it lives on as my BuSchroder. I have 5 more 93mm - Pruner, Woodsman, PX, Carver, and a new Farmer.

It's been quite some time since a SAK got me this enthousiastic :D
I don't know why... there's just something about it...
The background, the Combo tool and Gutting blade (in a 111mm frame)...

I still don't understand why the RAF chose it. But I agree with Ron it is a pretty complete tool. Be interested to know what aircrew thought of it, corkscrew and all

From what I found online they thought it was a joke..

I think the RAF chose the tool since it can be used for hunting/gathering, self defence and as a rescue knife since the gutting blade can also be used as a seatbelt/paracord cutter.

Somewhat like a rescue tool avant-la-lettre :D
