This Pioneer X in black alox.

I got 2 Executives today.

Congratulations!  I think that the white and blue Executives are stunning!  Do you plan to use them or display/store them?  Unfortunately, mine only made it out of the box for a photo.

I went to the DLT Trading site to purchase the Blue Pioneer X and discovered that there was a black version as well and got both.  Very impressive.  It is a good thing that I didn't find other colors or I'm sure that I would have spent more $$$!

Congratulations!  Looks great!

How often do you go to a flea market?

Once every 2 weeks. Or so, on average...
The last 30 days I visited 3.

I found a Bantam 6 months ago. The latest SAK before that was a Mountaineer, which was found 3 years ago...
Usualy I come across cheap copies or totaly wrecked ones. But even those are rare.

Too bad :-(
Summer is usually a good period for finding SAKs, like half my year findings are between May and August

LIke wise, Jim.  I was hoping for an 'orange alox', but that's like trying to find the Holy Grail. :-\   I might have to get a blue Pioneer, just because they rock!  Thanks, for the positive feedback!

Today the postman brought an unexpected package, the sender was one of the well-known SAK-sellers from ebay. It turned out my dear wife surprised me with an Alox Minichamp!  :woohoo:

Lovely wife and lovely little SAK! I really like it, feels very solid. Unfortunately I won't be able to carry or use it for another two weeks, as I'm doing a 30-day minimalist challenge, but it's just nice to play around with it anyway. I'm very happy right now.

Great wife and great knife Exeter :like: :tu: :tu:

The Alox Mini Champ is a great SAK.

If you have never had a Mini Champ before don't forget that you can open opposing tools to extend the handle length......when using the spear blade you can open the bottle opener/phillips screwdriver,..... if using the curved blade you can open the cuticle pusher......also if using the orange peeler {which works great for opening clamshell packs) you can open the cuticle pusher, also if using the scissors the cuticle pusher extends the handle nicely, etc.

The cuticle pusher serves as a small pry tool and a screwdriver.

To use the orange peeler for opening clamshell packs, hook the point on the underside of the tip into the plastic and pull the peeler toward you...it will zip right through the plastic.

The phillips screwdriver is perfect for removing screws in handheld electronic devices when changing batteries.

The small curved blade is great for slicing through cardboard.
