Just bought a Quattro. Still thinking about the best way to EDC it. When I do, I'll post some pics.

(Image removed from quote.)

Probably just some paracord through the hole so I can use a clip on it.

 first thought was attach to keychain somehow.
That’s not a bad idea  :tu: :like:

I'll probably have it sort it out by tomorrow.

Here's a knife I just found while clearing out some old stuff.
I don't remember buying it and I didn't put it in my spreadsheet, so I don't even know what I paid for it.  I probably posted it in this thread a year ago or so.

Sorted! I decided not to use paracord. It would be thicker and more difficult to get attached to the rest of my EDC. I had a small bead chain from a bag tag, it's perfect for this. Now, I have 50% more items in my EDC (the weight increase, OTOH, should be around 5%).

I did exactly the same thing some months ago,but some days ago i decided to ditch the chain and just store the Quattro on the sheath i use to store my bits, along with the bits. On my keys it pokes into my fingers a bit  :P

I lost my nylon Sportsman a while ago, so I just got another couple of used ones. I love this model. One is immaculate, practically as new; the other was in VG condition except for a tiny but deep chip near the tip of the blade, not noticeable at first glance. Unfortunately in grinding it out I've lost the tiniest bit of of blade length and upset the symmetry a little, so I have either more work to do or I can ignore the imperfection. The latter is both the easiest and hardest course of action to take! :ahhh

Haha, love how you opened the package before opening the blue enveloppe! :ahhh

Yesterday I went hunting for a 2018 Christmas Sportsman, unfortunately I didn't succeed in finding one again.

But I did pick up this beauty...

Explorer White Christmas 2017

I have only one in stores last year and this one had two! So she still has one on display.
As it's an explorer, it's a nice SAK to have, but the scales are very pretty. The effect does not really show on camera.

I'll do my best to get a hold of a 2018 Sportsman as well and see if I can start collecting Christmas versions from now on.

You mean the Make a wish version? That one is nice, but I have to be careful my funds are running low.
I run my SAK collection from money I make from selling things 2nd hand. Usually I buy 2nd hand SAKs, thriftstore finds and such, so a new Explorer took a big bite out of my budget.
I'm shooting for a Christmas Sportsman this year. Then I'm off to selling stuff again  :dunno:
