I bought this small Climber with long nail file.  I have no idea what I was thinking when I bought it as I totally overpaid for it.  That will teach me to buy something right as I wake up in the morning. :ahhh  :ahhh  :ahhh
My fear is that it would end up in the thread titled "Crazy" where they talk about the outrageous prices.
Lesson learned....kicking myself as it is, so be gentle.  $235 shipped, I'm a fool....aargh.... bad decision.  Thankfully a friend has reminded me that some of my deals will help offset the cost of this.  Worst case scenario is I'll sell it to recoup some of its value.  It arrives tomorrow.

It's well worth it, it is pristine, and the only one you would need for your whole lifespan.

Thank you Ptisuisse.  It is the only small Climber with long nail file I own, so I can possibly let myself enjoy it.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

The opener layer has become pretty redundant to me. When I was younger, beer was sold in glass bottles and all cans needed an opener. Nowadays beer comes in aluminium cans and all cans have a top that can be ripped off. I usually need a screw driver at home and my tool box is near, so no need for the SAK opener layer tools.

Haven't posted here in a while but I think most will appreciate some of the pieces in my "buffer". Recently acquired and not yet cleaned/sorted/pouched.

Yes that's an alox Wenger with the traditional Swiss dagger on it ^^

Congratulations!!!!
:pok: Now I know where are most of the knives I’ve been following lately
Well done

Nice knife, Lisa! Don't worry about high price, there are no same knives for less money around. Next time you'll get another rarity for low price I believe.

Fleamarket finds from today, a '44 Soldier and an Elinox Popular. The Soldier has a cracked scale but the tools have nice snap, the Popular is a bit worse for wear in the looks department, but after a good cleaning it has perfect "walk and talk".

Nice sets!  :like: Are those Spartans?

Thanks! And yes, they are Spartans.  Readily available online.  I'm surprised I haven't seen them on MTO much.  Someone else must have these...
