The the limited special-run of the Blue Pioneer with Red Shield.  I really like all the recent colored Alox with a red shield.

Airport Sharp Sale Day!

So... Along with the $15 LM Mini that followed me home, a Executive, Explorer, and Weekender, but I'm most happy about the Salesman I found. The openers are a bit beat, and the blades are horribly abused- both tips missing, the large blade badly and heavily sharpened, the small nicked- but the scales, liners, backside tools and scissors are all in amazing condition. It has a fate down the road, possibly to be rebuilt back to spec, or maybe something very kinky with the body of a Cadet and some files involved.

Alox cadet II from DrGonzo

Red alox cadet from Tim

My First Vic Plus from amazon

and some 84mm brass rods from Neil.

Can you guess what I'm planning?  :D

I am now a Cybertool owner, and that driver feels more reassuring in real life. I'd had reservations about it for a while which is why I'm so late to the party

It could refer to a district in Zurich or the large Swiss engineering company (or possibly another company).  Since it also the older tradition for the shops to etch their name on the blade, it could have been a cutlery shop in Zurich.

I would bet it's related to the engineering company, but one of our members in Switzerland might have a better idea.

The picture ColoSwiss links to is made by the Dutch artist Maurits Escher...

My guess about the tourist would be that it has something to do with this company: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Escher_Wyss_%26_Cie
