Nice choice - I have one of those too, and the olive wood scales look great - it does a good job on the corks too!

Here’s the newbie, the kid was on vacation out to a friends and when he saw it he thought of me and grabbed it, it’s an imitation but still, look at that scale,, it’s not with the other sak’s but on display with my models..

Both new-to-me and just received today, this is a comparison from "before" (top two), and "after"  spa: polishing, sharpening, buffing and oiling.  [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Not quite a SAK but definitely a great one for the collection :climber:

Considering it was printed in 1984 and in basically brand new condition I’m most pleased, even complete with letter from the Elseners

No picture but picked up three Spartan's with serrated main blade for $20 each.  One for the Mrs., one for the kiddo and one for me.  $20?  Seriously useful knife to keep in the car, drawer or wherever and if it gets lost/stolen?  $20.  That's lunch these days.

Are these exclusive for the USA / Canada market? I cannot find then in Australia.

I'd love to have one or two, especially at $20!!!

Cheers, Pete

sometime I use a fake Chinese version of SC for some rough uses cause I don't want to damage my SAKs  :D but in the end i use them, the only good use of Chinese version that SAKs can't do is that I use it's saw to scratch my back, it's dull and just right for scratching

Just got this early 80’s Sexplorer Hoffritz edition for $26. Tried to carry it but it’s too thick. Probably going to sell it or it may just end up sitting on my desk

I'm really surprised (and a bit disappointed) that this didn't end up as smurfplorer. Oh well.
Anyway, tell us more about this one
