Saw these at Lowes and decided to get them.  Already have a Recruit and a bunch of Classics but these will go into my "new in package" collection

Wait till Matt sees this :ahhh He's been hunting a '71 for some time now. Those look awesome. :salute:

Yep    :D :D.
So many 72's but hardly any 71's  :( :( :(

I saw a Victoria from '71 yesterday, it can be yours for ONLY $125 + $11 shipping :pok:  :D

It would be nice to say 'sure'  :( :( :( :( :D.
It's ok though I will have a Cadet with scissors + a second blade in a number of weeks  8) :D.

Nice. Is that factory or a custom mod? You don't see many 84mm w/ scissors on a knife that new.

Nicely done. I always thought it odd that Victorinox didn't make many of the 84mm Huntsman, really anytime after the early 1950s. The Artisan seemed to be the four layer 84mm knife of choice for them.

2012 limited Spartan, numbered:  2012-027137. The little booklet is missing from the box though...Sent a message to the dealer, I hope this will turn out good (altough I don't have any high hopes for that...).
Just recieved the booklet today via mail! I'm glad this turned out good in the end.

Edit: Just won a bid, two year old, lightly used Swisstool, $40. I'm excited what it will look like when I get it.

Just arrived to me: Marlboro Trail Guide.

Also happy to report: there is no rubbing between the combo tool and the main blade (the beefier older style), everything is perfectly placed.

Got my customized Hunter back from Steve today... very sweet!

He added a scissors/phillips layer to it for me, so it's like an Outrider (one of my first and favorite SAKs), but with a serrated blade and a combo tool, instead of the dual openers.

Indeed!   :tu:

I think this is going to be the perfect hiking/camping SAK for me...  It's considerably smaller than my Ranger 179.  I also like that it has the separate PE and serrated blades.  The scissors are sweet (old style ones!), and I think the phillips driver will be useful as a stand-in marlin spike for working with cord.

It's going to live in my MaxPed Single Sheath on the strap of my hiking pack, so I'll always have it easily on hand.

Thanks again Steve!  Awesome work as usual!

I got my parts from Rotokid. My LNF Master Craftsman is back together. Those old parts are getting hard to find.

A couple of weeks ago I made a trade that resulted in my Wenger Evo16 leaving me.  Normally I have no regrets after a trade, and I was happy with the result of this particular one as well.  But over the past week or so, it began to dawn on me - I really miss my 16!  It was a great SAK that had seen a ton of pocket time since I got it.  There's an easy fix for this, though..... :)

The watch is also a Wenger, got it in another trade.  The battery needed to be replaced, and the guy that did it used a Wenger watch case knife!  He pointed it out to me.  Nice watch, I really like it.  So, a Wenger heavy weekend, and it's all good.  :tu:
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D
