I just placed an order of my first SAK, it's the Forester with dual density handle (not the OH). Pictures will be posted here next week.  :climber:

That's a great one, that's available still at a great price.  It's very underrated because the OH models get all the press.... so we need some good pictures.

Indeed. If It's fine for me opening my blast and ST300's pliers first to access the other tools, then these should be better. Besides, my Forester will be my camping/hiking multitool.

During my Balkan trip have purchased two SAKs in the capital of Bulgaria – Sofia. Both are limited: Climber in Damascus and Spartan.
Here they are:

Nice Grab!  I still have not picked up that Spartan yet, but hopefully I'll see one at a convient location and price soon.  Did yours come with a little book?

 I was surprised seen it into the show-window of the shop. Decided not to lose the chance. There also was Soldier Replica, but not for sell.

Still waiting on my Wenger Backpacker, USPS sure is taking its time.  >:(  Got a bit of a SAK itch lately, and scratched it nicely with a Huntsman, picked up at a local shop for only $20!

I'm sure your local pharmacist will be able to help  :P

I went to an outdoor store here today with the intent of buying a new SAK.  This place only stocks Wengers, and had a good selection.  I was thinking about a Ranger, but upon handling it for about 10 seconds I put it right back.  A lefty can't get to the hole in the blade because the bottle opener blocks it!  >:(  I did, however, leave there with a Wenger Tradesman.  No pics yet, but very cool.  It's an 85mm Deluxe Tinker!  Classic scales, not Evo, too.  :tu:

I just pulled the trigger on a Vic Hercules.  I have been looking at this model for YEARS, but today was the day.

You'll have to let me know how it treats you... I've had my eye on a tradesman, I like that its a deluxe tinker in a more pocket friendly form factor, as well at the better pliers/scissors!

I agree with the pocket friendly bit.  I've had a Deluxe Tinker, and it certainly was a very nice knife with a very useful toolset.  but, it was a bit on the large side for pocket carry.  The Tradesman is definitely more comfortable to leave in a front pocket all day.  And I also agree that Wenger's scissors and pliers are better than those from Victorinox.  I'll be taking it to work over the next couple of days, and we'll see just how useful it is.  :tu:
