How does that clip thing work btw? I've seen it in the catalogs but I've never seen them in real life. The tube-like clip next to the knife that is.

I've been too busy with work and now holidays to post much, but I got this beauty a couple weeks a ago off ebay from Alexi at Swiss Bianco Canada.

A Victorinox/Swiss-Bianco Yeoman Mechanic in Yellow with file worked blade.  I think it looks better than the picture, but I can't spend much time on photos right now.

Just picked up a OHO fireman...its a bit thick, I think 3 layers are my limit.  Wanted a trekker with a corkscrew and toothpic/tweezers...should have went with the forester and swapped scales.

Also, I just found this site this week, looks pretty good.

I'm thinking my next sak will be a mod of my own making. Long nail file, blade, combo tool, scissors, mag glass and Phillips. All wrapped in carbon fiber or something new.

A vintage Yeoman, as it were. I have plans for one of those myself. I'd planned on using an older, thicker "Victoria" blade and a combo tool from a 111mm knife. Was also going to put a bail on it, just to complete the whole vintage vibe.
