Many thanks, its a green spartan that the victorinox store in london engraved with a picture of the skyline of london. It was a special day when you chose the design that you wanted and. They engraved it and gave you the knife for free.
You cant get better than that!

A  brand newBO swisstool landed on my doormat today. Although I think it may have been Manufactured a few years ago as the packing grease has started to solidify although the box looks new both in design and condition.
My trouble is i never show initiative, but that's only because no one has told me to.

Imagine an Alox Vic Pioneer with scissors, now replace the alox and liners with Titanium.

Imagine no longer:

And  to get it, I didn’t have to pull it out of a stone, or wait for strange women lying in ponds to throw one at me in some farcical aquatic ceremony.*  All you need is the talents of Syph007. The pic above doesn't do justice, but Syph007 has posted better pictures.

I can’t begin to tell you how great of a job was done on this Titianium SAK. My wife took a look and said it looked utterly machine made and  she couldn’t even tell the Ti scales were done by hand.  Fit and finish are tight, and by all respects this knife looks *perfect*.

Now I have a SAK where all the parts are ether stainless steel or titianium; a PREMIUM knife.  No aluminum, no brass, no inferior soft metals. It should prove to be VERY corrosion resistant and durable.

And it matches my Ti wedding band which is appropriate since my spouse fronted the $ to pay for this SAK as an anniversary present.

Once you have finished by adding the wood saw you'll have a handy tool there.

Nice job, but Chip's right that wood saw would top it off, of course of you added syph007's famous combo/Philips, then that would so rock! JR

A saw is nice to have, however I don't like the way they're integrated on 93s.
And since I added a phillips to my Compact already, I'm fine with the canopener. But once I get my hands on a short phillips again, I'll maybe add it. Interchangable tools rock!

This is my latest, it arrived a while ago:

Pic by GigaHz who acted as an eBay proxy and even took the time to clean it, fix a couple of misbehaving tools and polish the scales! It's a beauty!

My latest.  Nothing special, but it IS alox.....  :)  This is actually my fifth SI.  The other four have been traded.  I love these, but apparently so do at least four other members.....

There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

A new Victorinox Outdoorsman and a new (and massive!) Wenger SwissGrip. :tu: Haven't decided if I'll pocket carry the Outdoorsman yet, I'm starting to really dig the magnifying glass + inline Phillips combo. Although, the Explorer is smaller and rarely in my daily life as a software engineer do I find myself with fish to scale. :) The SwissGrip will likely live a cushy life on my shelf. Now I just need to get some kind of display to start putting my knives in...

May it be as the Pattern has chosen.
