Wow,
Blue Alox Firstmate with black tools... mmm mmmm good!  :drool:
I Can Fix That: Can I borrow that fancy watch? and great photos by the way!
Ya watch is pretty fun.  It has a great count-down timer I've not seen on other watches. You get increasing number of progression beeps as you get closer to zero, so you know where you are in the countdown without looking at the watch; pretty cool.

Can't beat a fresh batch of First Mates!

That's probably the nicest knife I've seen here! :D  They sure don't sell those at the Rock......
Whats that? Is it the name for the stadium where the Devils play? You should probably check wherever the NJ Devils pro shop sells, they might have one.
Yes, The Rock is a nickname for the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, where the Devils play. I was just there on Wednesday, and didn't see anything like that in any of the shops. I'll have to look for one, didn't even know they existed! The Zippo lighter with the Devils logo was pretty difficult to find in its own right, Zippo and the NHL stopped their marketing agreement years ago. One more toy for the list.....
Good Luck! I hope you find one. Let me know if you do. I only have 3 NHL classics. The other 2 are Pittsburgh Penguins and the New York Rangers. Click here to see the others.

My latest is a SwissFlame which:

  • is not mint (I expected it to be);
  • has a company logo etched into the lighter;
  • does not work (but that's no surprise ;) );
  • was very expensive :(

:(

I got my first Eco-line SAK today, a black bantam. My first SAK ever that needed sharpening out of the box. After a few passes on the 1000 grit it's fine now, but I'll need time getting used to the scales.

Got stung with customs charge of £17 hats off to royal mail for that.

Sorry your customs guys decided to take some extra! :-\  Wonder why I never get hit up with tariffs or taxes or customs charges when I get stuff from out of the country? I regularly get stuff from Switzerland around $50 and under but never any extra charges.

Well it say's on the charge notice that VAT was £9.23 and the rest was a royal mail international handling fee. If the value exceeds £40 as a gift then they are subject to a customs charge. Just more ways for them to screw money from us  >:( . Worth it though  :tu:

Do you know if the 84mm size was also refered to as the Accountant, or which size is properly refered to as the Accountant?

A classic red Spartan. While I really liked the look of the translucent versions, I wanted an inexpensive, harmless looking user.

Here is a Wenger Traveler with a clip blade. Obviously these are not the original scales. When I got the knife it had really horrible looking black scales on it, they weren't the SwissBuck scales but classic Wenger scales that were covered in the "soft touch" material. It was all scraped and worn, really ugly.

The ugly scales had to go so I dug into my knife drawer and found a Backpacker model with a bunged up blade and 10 minutes later, voila!

It has become my EWDC (Every Weekend Day Carry)  :)

Now that's awesome.  :drool:   Your rivets look fantastic too!  Did you use the extra bushing to give the scissors some snap?

This SAK was held up for a while looking for a ride across the ocean, but it made it.  The picture didn't really come together as I don't have a shark.  Oh well... you get the idea... a very practical knife when it comes to blades.
