I'm sorry, the serrations are just too much for me. I'd still like to hear a valid answer someday on how to keep them sharp.

Easiest way I've found to get serrations back properly sharp is lay the back edge of the blade flat on a fine stone. That way you'll work the entire profile of the serration - harder work if the back edge is concave though

You're also a bit more limited as to how many times you can do this compared with a plain edge

My latest SAK(ish) things are a couple of 8GB SlimFlash USB drives.

I'll be breaking one down to use the drive in a Monster58 and will use the scales from that one to build myself an Alox Rambler. The other one... not sure what to do with it yet.

So I asked a good friend in Switzerland who replied with the info below:

The knife is signed by the artist M.S Bastian (2006) on the back scale.
I did a bit of research myself and found the artist in question.
