Just shot an old Voyageur in sweet condition on eBay for 50€ shipped including to other SAKs which I think I can sell for 15€. I guess, 35€ isn't that bad. >:D

Silver, old caplifter, Elinox stamp.

Finally I have one on the way:D
Say my name.

Wow, what a nice Wenger!
I'm really happy for Tosh as I know he was looking hard for it.
Should you find another one, please let me know as I had been looking for this model for quite some time
Yes it's nice. Tosh scored it I just forwarded it to him ;)
If I remember correctly, wait, what was I saying?

Mazda SAK :D Older one: grooved corkscrew, scissors with screw, ring on liner and no hook. The scale imprint is metal inlay. No, I don't drive a Mazda but the SAK just looked too cool to pass.

Yep  :) Rather thick scales and heavier then you would expect. Nice fit and finish.
I doubt the colors are done by heating..?

Looks like Ti anodizing to me with the swab method and ramping the voltage.

Color - voltage chart.

Just a Spartan, but with a NICE metal inlay

the inlay says "Thanks for loyal duty Swiss Military Department"  according to a translator lol
Rest is not idleness,
and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day,
listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky,
is by no means a waste of time

Actually it's even cooler. 8) The translator got it wrong. Schwyz isn't translated Swiss, Schwyz is a Canton in Switzerland, one of the founding ones and the one where Ibach, the hometown of Victorinox is located.

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canton_of_Schwyz

I'm not sure if Militärdepartment should be translated as Military Department, it sounds a bit off to me, but our Swiss members should be able to clarify that.

In any case a very nice find. :tu:
