A set of Classics with limited edition colors from France; and a rather rare Wenger Sailfish.

Nice, we're missing that one on the wiki as far as I can tell. Might add that one over the weekend as soon as I work through the backlog of edits. :D

A lux auto. The top scale is cracked. This will probably end up on Ebay soon. Is this supposed to have one of those single sided black springs?

That looks in far better condition than I expected. :2tu: Nice score.

I'm guessing by single sided black springs you're talking about the scissor spring aka the single leaf spring. As far as I know those were standard until cca 1975.

Yep. I have been considering one for a while, and when jazzbass pointed out that the Handyman I inherited had the older style pliers, I wanted a new tool with plier layer, to give a more fair review of the 91mm pliers.

The number for the Sailfish is 16955. The plain-handled version is 1 19 13. Also includes screw driver, can opener, and reamer.

We're missing several other of the handles with figures. Have relatives in town for the holiday (Thanksgiving), but will try and get to them next week.

PS - Looks like GigaHz has found a nice little pocket of gold.  :tu:

Thanks for fixing the links and for your info.

Both boxes are from the Metal Traveler series, or Metal-50 according to SAK Wiki, so I don't have any info on this knife :-[

The scales' surface feels like thin rubber, not cellidor, so I'm assuming it could be what you're describing. The cross and logo contour have a metal tint on them, not white.

I like this one a lot   :D

Beautiful Wengers!

Thanks! The Metal-50 is a joy to hold but otherwise I'm kinda "meh" about it

The clip point is almost certainly a keeper though. It went through a small piece of paper like if it weren't there.  >:D :D

Those are cool SAKs Firiki :tu:  I remember the same feeling when I got me Wenger EvoGrip16.  The blade was and still is super sharp, and so is the can opener for that matter.

you'll be able to find there a "compilation" of all the informations currently available about your knife.

OK, I see now ! For what it's worth, the knife is listed as 1.12.23 on the receipt.

Edit: I did my research. The reference above is erroneous apparently.
I'll go by the shop tomorrow morning to see if they can be of help.

P.S: You guys are doing a great job with the SAK Wiki project :tu:
