I have recently harvested a bumper crop.    >:D

(Image removed from quote.)

Black Alox MiniChamp.  I really like this one.  It's the same thickness as a Rambler and doesn't weigh noticabely more (MiniChamp is 40g, Rambler is 30g).

:tu: I love alox MiniChamps. You may want to get some in red and silver too now they are available at these prices direct from Victorinox.

Big thanx to @GigaHz  :salute: and @enki_ck  :salute: for great ebay action

Outdoorsman yeah Marlboro in mint condition   :D

Perfect setup for my hiking backpack. For town I go with 4 layer Explorer Plus.

Nice one Splico :tu:  I almost bought one of those (perhaps this one?) recently, but wasn't able to spare the cash at the time.  I also wasn't sure as I didn't want the Marlboro scales and wouldn't carry it until I was able to get new scales for it.  Still, it's a great SAK :tu:  I was planning on pairing it with my Wingman.  I may have to go with a Champion Plus for that instead

BuyNow price was unbelivable http://www.ebay.com/itm/VintageVictorinox-outdoorsman-knife-nos-in-box-/261375116465?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=0%252F3MRdEFY8URsOPiqb7MmlQgZ8Q%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Warm soap bath, plus scales, mini screwdriver, pin and pen already waiting for Marlborosman :D

Oh wow, I guess it wasn't the same one I was looking at.  You definitely scored on that price :tu:

I was very lucky  ;)

Yes you were ;)  If I had seen that one, I definitely could have spared the cash for that price, and probably tracked down some plus scales for it as well.

Black Alox China Huntsman:

Is there really the small blade opposite the can opener and the caplifter opposite the large blade?
Otherwise the alox scales make me want a swissmade Alox 91mm!

Last year the Victorinox store in London offered a SAK with the skyline of London. Now REI is offering skylines of three US cities, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle.

The small blade is opposite the main blade, the illo is crunk. Just Ile the knife- fir example the small blade is warped in that it prevents the main blade from closing, lol.

I think the scales could be used with Vic innards though!

Probably Lowe's Hardware; that's the only location, other than flea markets, where I've found the brand.

Couple of recent finds - Alox Pioneer and XLT.

Pioneer has seen some use - couple of dings on the blades - but still a lovely little knife.

Judging from other posts I guess the Alox is a soldier (it has 93 stamped on blade) - I think?!

It's hard to say what that is.  There are tools that are not open.  For instance, the awl and the small blade are visible.  There is also likely a metal file since there's a chisel.

My guess is a modded 91mm. I never saw a chisel on an 84mm. 84mm backside tools are pretty much CS, awl, LNF and Phillips.

My latest is a 84mm Waiter with orange pinstripe scales. Quite cool, never seen those scales before. Too bad it's not 91mm.

BTW, I think it being 84mm is cooler. :D Don't remember any other 84mm pinstripe scales. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong though. ;)
