How long do you think the KF4 will be available?

Just wondering what you guys think. I'm not much of a collector, more of a user, so I haven't watched how long tools are still easy to find at reasonble prices after they're disontinued. I might want to pick up another before they go the way of the dodo though...

Retail stores may have them for a little while yet, but they will be readily available on eBay for years to come.  Do a search for the PST which has been discontinued much longer and see how many of those are still available.

I doubt you will ever run the risk of them becoming rare, hard to find tools as they are pretty common.

The only really hard to find tools are REALLY old ones (100+ years) or ones that they only made a couple hundred (or less) of.

While we're on the subject, how difficult is it to find sideclips or mini-tools? They're the two retired LMs I'm still seriously consider getting from a colletcting standpoint.

I know there used to be a mini-tool at a local tobacco store, but Ijust looked last week and it was gone  :( Thats what got me thinking along these lines in the first place. Maybe I'll find some local pawn shops and check them out.
