Small elegant Robert Klaas Knife
on: July 06, 2010, 11:53:05 AM
I got this small elegant knife a few weeks ago. It belonged to my mother in law who died after suffering from MS for years. I found the knife in a box of things that should be thrown away  :ahhh No one seemed to be interested in it, so I grabbed it, cleaned it and keep it together with other small things that remind me of beloved people that passed away.

The knife is a little bit larger than a Vic classic, has a "large" blade, a small blade and a nail file. It looks as if it was used and carried in a small leather pouchquite a lot. I am not sure about the material of the scales, but they look beautiful. I had to research what brand it is as the writing on the blade is worn off and I never heard of the logo with the two birds before.

No, I have never been to Solingen... In fact, I grew up just an hour away from Solingen, and even now it is just an 1,5 hour-drive.

But I guess that would be way too expensive  :ahhh I avoid flea markets, too, for the same reason. I just have to start getting money on a regular basis for that. But times are getting better for me, just started working one day a week  :)

Kissing Crane is the name of the 2 birds tang stamp logo. They make very good knives.
