Picture frenzy
on: August 09, 2010, 05:13:02 PM
I was out on a bike trip today and brought all (most, forgot the Squirt...that's what you get for being so small ) my MTs and my DSLR to try to find some nice places to take some pictures. I did, and shot quite a few pictures. I thought I'd post them in a separate thread instead of epically spamming the multitool pic thread. When I got home there were two packages waiting for me; the Wave I bought from sawman, and a Vic Midnite Manager I ordered from eBay for a friend. Went outside to grab a few quick pics of those too.

Great pics!  :tu:

I hope you lost none of those beautiful wooden SAKs in the water!  :ahhh

I like picture no. 4 very much. Great idea! But in the end, all pictures are beautiful. Just number 1 is a little bit boring compared to the others.

Great pictures!  Would it be okay to pull one for a background pic on my computer?

Just let me know which one and I'll give you the original version - these are only 1000 pixels wide, but I have them ranging in size up to 10mpix depending on crop. I also have some of them as RAW files if you know what to do with those.

Great pics  :tu:

I'd be too scared to stick my multi's water  :-[ Although they do make for a good photo :D

Are there any side effects or is it fine as long they get a good drying out and some oiling?

I doubt very much it's recommended - especially the wooden ones, so I was careful to dry those off very carefully afterwards. As for the others, the skeletools and the PST have been used to death and this isn't their first time submerged. In fact I'd guess they prefer water compared to some of the things they've been used for.
