Indeed, his work is simply awesome and very inspiring. I just bought a Spartan, a Climber and two Classic SDs from eBay that will be de-scaled and woodified when they get here. Have to try to imitate the Thai master. Not that I need any more SAKs, but if they turn out decent maybe I can sell them. I hope to god that's what Taninaree is doing, those masterpieces need to be spread out into the world

What are you using to cut out the scales since you get them so perfect off the block, Taninaree? CNC machine, or laser? Anyways, made a new woody SAK today. Don't know what wood it is, probably flame birch or more likely curly birch. That setup with the spindel is very nice! Looks to be some sort of Dremel, so I should be able to make my own using my dremel. Also have to get one of those saws. Very nice!

Yes , The demel is good for wood scale mod , I also have one but in my locally the attachement kit pricing are not resonable.more pics for more details of my homemade jig.
