Great pic J-Sews. I wouldn't have guessed there were than many parts in one tool. Hope you can remember which parts went where!

Hehe, I learned that lesson the hard way back on MTorg Charge 001. (Had to take it back apart twice because I'd put things in the wrong place!)  :P

This one will be my tenth reassembly in the past few weeks, so hopefully it will all go routine.

You must be able to do it in your sleep by now!

Great job! :) That's fun to see, and good that I don't have to take mine apart to see it :P Those things certainly are complex.

There! Only took about a half hour, and I got it right the first try! (Something tells me they have better assembly equipment at the factory)  :P ;)

Usually, leftover parts are a bad sign when I'm done putting something back together. Fortunately, the only leftovers I had this time were the four original black scales.  :)

Leftover parts just means you were more efficient at re-assembling something.  You were able to do it using LESS parts than they were :P

Maybe you've said this elswhere, but what are you using to work those pivot screws?

I used these here official Multitool.org pivot screw sockets. They work pretty good. Two sizes are required, because the front pivot screws (up by the plier head) are bigger than the back pivot screws.

Hehe, they actually belong to Def. (I'm just beta testing them)  ;)

We were trying to come up with a workable plan to loan them out to members for mods, but it hasn't gotten anywhere yet.

Cool. I'm not in a hurry though, as I don't have any "disposable" tools right now, but I just like to know that I could... It makes me feel better ::)

You wouldn't believe what we had to go through to get those.  Let me just say that we likely aren't going to see any more in the future, so while I'd like to make them available, I want to make certain they'll be safe!

I wonder what on of the pneumatic assembly line tools from the factory would be worth on this forum? :D

Wouldn't that be a handy thing!!

It must have some type of very precise torque setting. I'm finding that the difference between "too tight" and "too loose" on many of these tools is less than half a turn of the screw.

Yeah I thought of that too. In the factory they just zipped through the tools, and then had someone check them down the line.
