Got my first SAK last week! Then promptly went out and got a Tinker the next day  :)

Thanks Monrogue! After I had a grey alox and found out that there where black ones available, I started to get my hands on what black I could get. Currently a Classic, Cadet without lanyard, Pioneer and Farmer. The Victorinox Officer Automatic also has the alox look on its dial. Next up, I am waiting on a black midshipman to arrive, and on a custom Rambler and Minichamp. Also I asked a mate in SA to get me the black Solo, but shipping is so gruesome expensive, I asked him to keep it until he comes over on holiday. Most long term order ever. Any available black alox I missed?

If you're willing to tolerate a bit of red on the shield ;) there's the danish Bantam. One layered 84mm SAK.

And there's also the all black Pioneer. Those come up very rarely. Last one sold here back in November.

Thanks you Schneider. The watch is a Officer Day Date automatic, and it is tied to the (light black?) Pioneer. as in they came together in one package. The Pioneer has some tiny wear marks, and yest, it has a lighter shade of black then the rest. It is more apparent in photos as it is when holding them, but it is clearly different.

And oh: the black midshipman arrived. As it is not limited enough, I ended up with a factory defected marlinspike, which makes it completely unique (in a weird way)
Still not sure weather to return it to have it fixed, or to leave it as it is, a freak.

Not at all, some month ago I told Tim from Felinevet that I was looking for Pioneers, any color, and told me he got some left, including this beauty, for a real fair price.

I'm sure there are better pictures posted in the mod-section, but here is a quick snap in artificial light of Rick's acid-wash Urban-Pioneer.  The acid wash really does create a nice matte finish on the tools that is very compatible with Black scales.   :salute:
