I'm kicking myself for not remebering that word! Nice catch!
These rhymes are a scourge to the Surge!

And another fan of the surge here !

Well after reading a lot about the Surge before buying one, i see many people like the oho Knives but struggle to get the one they want out.
I read about rembering that the serrated is on the same side as the saw, or the plain is on the clip side.
Well there is Something more simple.. the plain edge has a plain edge on top of the thumb hole, the serrated has indentations there.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy the carry case / sheath thingy for the saw/file blades separately or if it is included when you buy the replacement blades?

Like this for instance: https://www.multi-tool-store.co.uk/accessories-c34/leatherman-surge-replaceable-saw-file-p865
Product Reference: 931003
Kind regards,

MMR

I doubt they would be worth selling.

Someone here made their own version.

I believe Kam made one.  Duct tape would be a nice option for a simple effective sheath.

My modded old style Surge.  I use this mostly at home.  I liked the chisel on the Swisstools so much I made one for this tool.  I also like having an awl.

I made my own with a scrap of old wallet leather and super glue.
