First thank you both for being involved in my decision, great photo Aloha, something that i would do with modifying Surge is to replace it saw with one from the Wave, let's be real that big tool requires bigger saw.

The good thing about the Surge is that
you have the jigsaw blade exchanger
And you can get longer jigsaw blades that fit the Surge  :tu:

I posted about my SAK sleeping on duty and was going to reprimand him, but my Surge whispered "Over here." It was only then that I realized the my Surge had taken over the night watch and allow my ever faithful SAK to get some much needed sleep....

Hi Guys and Girls.

So I just bought a new Surge and must say I do like this tool, the weight feels good and with a decent belt and carry case should be good.

What are peoples thoughts on replacing one of the blades with another quick change tool or some other item (full size file) etc.

Happy to be joining you gentlemen

Since I designed all my bits to be modular with leathermans, all my stuff fits on my Surge as well

All I did to my Custom 3D bit holder was to put some heat shrink around it to match the BO.

Only modification I had to do to the sheath was to make two holes and wrap two mini cable ties through them, to fit my custom bit driver

I never get tires of seeing a BO Surge.  Looks great now and with time and use it'll just get better looking.  Enjoy and congrats.
